Read the live price first
The official description says seeds are bought from the river. It does not publish current prices, so any purchase plan should start with the value displayed in your current client.
The Seed Affordability Planner uses:
total cost = seed price × quantityrequired funds = total cost + reservebalance after purchase = balance - total costestimated gross = observed harvest per seed × quantity
All currency fields must use the same unit. Quantity must be a positive whole number. The optional gross and margin are scenarios based on your observed return, not promises.
Pick a meaningful reserve
A reserve is money you intentionally leave unspent. Decide what action it protects: another seed, recovery after a bad outcome, or simply a testing buffer. No official minimum is assumed.
If the required funds exceed your balance, reduce quantity, choose a lower observed price in the live shop, or wait until the balance changes. Do not treat a tool result as permission to spend currency you do not have.
Connect buying to harvest risk
Buying and harvesting are linked. A current harvest may fund the next seed, while waiting may expose value to lightning. Use the Lightning EV Scenario only with probabilities and losses you deliberately enter. The lightning timing guide explains the uncertainty.
For the officially described route and a safe first sequence, see the gameplay loop and beginner guide.
Frequently asked questions
How much reserve should I keep?
The official sources do not prescribe a reserve. Choose an amount based on the next action you want to preserve, then enter it as a player input.
Does the planner include a hidden harvest rate?
No. The optional return field uses only the observed per-seed value you enter and does not add a default multiplier.
